Lindsay Lohan's boyfriend wants to relaunch her career

LINDSAY Lohan's new boyfriend wants to help her relaunch her career.

The 29-year-old actress-and-singer has been dating 22-year-old Russian business man Egor Tarabasov around seven months and her father Michael Lohan has revealed he's helping the 'Mean Girls' star take a step in a positive direction both personally and professionally.

Egor currently works in London as the managing director of Home House Estates, but wants to see his girlfriend back on the big screen where she belongs now she's overcome her personal troubles.

Speaking to the New York Post newspaper, Michael said: "He's a great influence. He has a lot of strong connections in Russia - these are big people and they're very supportive. He wants things to be in the right place for Lindsay and he's wise beyond his years."

Michael, 55, says Egor has his complete blessing to date his daughter - whose last film role was in 'The Canyons' in 2013 - and he says they make a lovely couple.

Michael added: "He's grown up with money but he's not spoiled. He's not the kind of guy to just sit back and spend his money. She may be older than him, but Lindsay is younger at heart. If she's happy, I'm happy."

This week, Lindsay opened up on her romance with Egor, revealing she met him last summer.

She said: "I haven't known Egor for that long. We've been together for about seven months. But I do have a boyfriend and he is a great guy. I met him in the summer. I'm really happy."
