LNP campaign workers cop abuse from bikie at Lockyer poll

AN ALTERCATION between a bikie associate and LNP campaign workers livened up election day in the seat of Lockyer today.

A source has told the QT that the bikie associate turned up at the Lockyer District High School booth in Gatton and was abusive towards LNP workers because he was angry that someone had put some LNP signs on his fence.

The source said that "someone had probably played a practical joke on him" and that the signs had not been placed there officially by any LNP staff.

A call was placed to the police to come and sort out the man, but he soon hot footed it.

"When we called the police, he took off," the source said.
