Logies 2017: She's in white but they aren't in jackets

AMBER Sherlock has hit the red carpet at the 59th Annual TV Week Logie Awards, insisting on wearing her signature colour.

Three months after the Nine newsreader became a worldwide viral sensation when leaked footage showed her mercilessly berating fellow presenter Julie Snook for wearing a similar white top and demanding she wear a blazer, Sherlock is still claiming ownership of the light and bright shade.

When she appeared on the red carpet at Melbourne's Crown Casino in the Jason Grech gown, we could only imagine the producers' immediate concern for the welfare of Georgia Love.

It seems the former star of The Bachelorette had already left her hotel room by the time the memo was delivered and she arrived at the ceremony also wearing white.

It was a brave move. She was promptly removed from the event.

It's expected veteran Channel Ten newsreader Sandra Sully will also be receiving a dressing down tonight.

As she walked down the red carpet, a frazzled minder began begging House Husbands star Firass Dirani for his blazer to swath Sully in. Her pleads were left unanswered.

At the final moment, the minder was able to source a shawl for the newsreader, but it too was white and only added fuel to the fire.

While the public held grave fears for Jessica Mauboy when she burst out of her Uber, their concern was unwarranted.

After all, Sherlock's a lady and knows better than to yell at a bride on her wedding day.
