THE man accused of murdering pregnant Logan teen Tiffany Taylor has been remanded in custody for another two months.

The matter of 60-year-old Rodney Wayne Williams was heard in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday morning.

He was arrested in August and charged with the murder of the 16-year old.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Kelly Fitzgibbon requested the two-month adjournment.

She told the court the arresting officer had confirmed the existence of a large brief of evidence, but that this was yet to be provided to Williams' defence team.

Miss Taylor was last seen on July 12, leaving a motel in Waterford West where she was living with her long-term boyfriend.

Police allege that she was picked up by Williams, with whom she had established contact on an online dating site.

Logan police Superintendent David Hutchinson said the teen had several online dating profiles and was using them to offer sexual favours for money.

Despite a widespread search in the Ipswich vicinity, her body is yet to be found.

Williams will next appear on December 11 via video link for a committal mention.
