Man accused of sex with cows to face court

BESTIALITY allegations against a businessman accused of having sex with cows at a dairy on the Coffs Coast and pressuring a young boy to follow suit, will return to court today.

A 53 year-old man was arrested outside his Coffs Harbour workplace earlier this year and several of his possessions were seized from his home.

Police revealed that for several months the man had been subject to a Child Abuse Squad investigation for offences dating back to 2003.

It will be alleged the man befriended a 13-year-old boy and repeatedly sexually assaulted him over a period of two years.

It will also be alleged that during that time, Brookes performed four sex acts with a cow and encouraged the boy to participate.

The case has been adjourned several times since it was first heard in the Coffs Harbour Local Court in February.

Investigations are continuing. Anyone with information can phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
