Man allegedly tortured in city home

A YOUNG man with stab wounds to both legs has escaped from a Brisbane home where he was allegedly was held against his will and tortured.

Police will allege a 22-year-old man was held against his will at another man’s home on Gregory Terrace, Spring Hill, where he was stabbed multiple times in both legs.

The man managed to run away before being taken to the Royal Women’s and Brisbane Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries about 1pm Sunday.

Police say the men are known to each other.

A 38-year-old Spring Hill has been charged with one count each of torture, wounding and deprivation of liberty.

He is expected to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
