Woman dies in crash on Warrego Hwy

A 33-year-old woman from Calamvale died at the scene of a crash at Plainland on the Warrego Hwy yesterday.

The woman sustained critical injuries in the crash which preliminary investigations indicate happened about 3:40pm.

The car was travelling eastbound on the Warrego Highway when it left the road, colliding with a guard rail.

Also in the car was a 4-year-old boy who was transported to Ipswich Hospital although police later confirmed he escaped uninjured.
