Man allegedly bashed, broke ribs of 21-year-old woman

A MAN charged with attempted murder after allegedly bashing a woman so severely she required hospitalisation has appeared in court.

Harley George Williams, 32, was charged on January 29, 2016 with attempted murder, deprivation of liberty, torture and grievous bodily harm.

The charges stem from an incident at a house in Dell St, Eastern Heights.

Victim Stephanie Parsons, 21, sustained a punctured lung, broken ribs and other injuries in the sustained attack.

The matter was adjourned until May 18.
