A MAN has been charged over an alleged stabbing outside a Sunshine Coast fast food restaurant on Monday.
Police will allege a man parked his vehicle on Nicklin Way, Minyama, about 8.30pm and when he got out of the car he was approached and assaulted by a number of men.
He received a number of stab wounds from an unknown object, and the front windscreen of his car was damaged.
The men fled the scene.
A 20-year-old Tanawha man has been charged with wounding and wilful damage and is due to appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The 27-year-old victim from Maroochydore received wounds to the right hand side of his body.
He was taken to hospital and released a short time later.
Investigations are continuing.
