Man facing more than 100 serious child sex offences

A BOOVAL man facing a litany of alleged child sex offences has had his matter mentioned briefly in court.

The man, 20, was charged on March 23, 2015 with 79 counts of indecent treatment of a child following a lengthy investigation.

He has also been charged with 14 counts of using a carriage service to transmit child pornography, five counts of rape and five counts of possessing child exploitation material.

The alleged offences occurred between December 30, 2014 and March 27, 2015.

The matter was adjourned until March 16.

The man is currently free on bail.
