Man hit from behind and robbed at Norman Park

POLICE are investigating after a man was robbed at Norman Park this morning.

Around 3.20am he was walking through a park off Milsom Street when he was struck from behind by a man and knocked to the ground.

The 46-year-old victim later regained consciousness to discover his wallet missing and that he had an injury to his neck.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment to cuts to his neck, body and arm.

The man is described as Caucasian, tall and of solid build.
