UPDATE: Tragic cause of man's death near Clermont

UPDATE: POLICE have confirmed a man has died after a single vehicle traffic crash in Clermont.

Preliminary information indicates the 68-year-old driver was travelling along Huntley Road at 6.40pm when police suspect the man suffered a medical episode.

Police believe a suspected heart attack caused him to lose control of the car.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

EARLIER: A MAN has been injured in a serious crash north of Clermont.

Paramedics and police were called to the scene of a single vehicle rollover on Huntley Road, Wolfang just before 7pm.

It is understood the man is unconscious and not breathing.

Emergency services were still on their way to the scene at 7.15pm.
