Man shot twice on the Gold Coast

DETECTIVES are investigating what is believed to be a shooting incident at Southport on Wednesday.

Initial inquires indicate about 8.30pm a man was shot twice at a Worendo Street house.

The 23-year-old Southport man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with two gunshot wounds where he remains in a serious condition with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations are continuing.
