Massage parlour owner to face 45 new charges

POLICE laid further charges against a Bellingen man yesterday who is alleged to have indecently assaulted female customers at his Coffs Harbour massage parlour.

The 66-year-old was arrested by Coffs Clarence detectives last month after three women came forward and said they had been inappropriately touched by the man during remedial massages.

He was arrested and charged with three counts of indecent assault and appeared in Coffs Harbour Local Court on Friday, February, 21, where he was remanded in custody.

Officers continued their investigations into the alleged incidents and are now expected to charge the man with a further 44 counts of indecent assault as well as one count of sexual assault.

The man reappeared before Coffs Harbour Local Court yesterday where the additional charges were brought against him.
