MasterChef Top 5 revealed

THE odds for the two remaining male cooks just got a little bit better on MasterChef.

After Kylie Millar's elimination tonight, Ben Milbourne and Andy Allen are now up against just three women in the final week of the reality cooking show.

Throughout this series, the men have been the underdogs of the Top 24 with the likes of Mindy Woods, Audra Morrice, Julia Taylor and recently departed Alice Zaslavsky continually impressing the judges and cooking in immunity challenges.

But Millar tips one of the boys to win the show.

"I always back the underdogs," she said.

"The two of them are really clever cooks. I'm sure that they'll whip out some surprises later in the week."

In tonight's Guillaume at Bennelong lunch service challenge, the judges found Millar's grainy nougat glace to be the least impressive dish.

While going out on a failed dessert was disappointing for the 24-year-old sweets specialist, she's forging ahead with her food dreams.

"I've been doing some work experience with pastry chef Darren Purchese in Melbourne and I'm learning so much off him," she said.

"I've also got some pop-up restaurants organised with some of the other contestants in the next couple of months."

Tomorrow night, the Top 5 contestants are greeted by Legendary British chef and MasterChef UK judge John Torode, who announces they must cook the perfect sauce to accompany the perfect steak.

MasterChef airs Monday through Wednesday (grand final) at 7pm on Ten
