MMA: Conor McGregor has been stripped of one of his belts, the UFC has confirmed.
McGregor, who recently became the first fighter to hold championships in two weight divisions, lost the featherweight title.
He has not defended that crown in 11 months after defeating Jose Aldo, and with the Irishman taking time off for the birth of his first child, he is not likely to fight until after May, forcing him to give up his belt.
Aldo looks likely to be handed the title, with Anthony Pettis and Max Holloway now set to fight for the interim featherweight championship at UFC 206.
McGregor, 28, defeated Eddie Alvarez in Madison Square Garden earlier this month to win the lightweight title.
