Milestone man ready for the Dragons

ROOSTERS second-rower Mitchell Aubusson admits having "a dog's body" early in his career gave him the motivation to work hard and play as many games as possible.

He will receive a reward for all that work when he runs out to take on the Dragons for his 200th NRL match in the traditional Anzac Day clash at Allianz Stadium today.

The Ballina junior admitted a chat with Roosters legends Anthony Minichiello and Craig Fitzgibbon, soon after arriving in Sydney, made him leave no stone unturned in his quest to become a consistent first-grader.

"Early on I was very ordinary. No six pack, nothing," Aubusson said.

"I remember having a conversation (with Minichiello and Fitzgibbon) saying 'I think it's time to get the rig sorted'. I just had to find ways to get my body right, and make sure I was ready to go every week."

Aubusson will run out for the 110th time for the Bondi club - in its past 113 games - today.

The 2013 premiership winner has also played five-eighth, centre, winger, lock, second-row and hooker in his 199 first-grade games.

The Dragons restored some confidence with a 19-14 win over the Titans last Saturday, after two heavy scoreless defeats in Queensland road games, against the Cowboys and Broncos.

Meanwhile, Storm coach Craig Bellamy said he was wary of the Warriors ahead of tonight's clash at AAMI Park. The Warriors have won three of their past four games.
