Missing Toowoomba pig brings home the Kevin Bacon

A TOOWOOMBA pig with its own Facebook page has reappeared after a four day exodus.

Vanessa Hayes took to social after discovering her beloved pig Kevin Bacon-Hayes was missing.

She thought the swine had been sleeping somewhere shady but when the sun went down he was still nowhere to be found.

"Kevin absolutely wouldn't wander off, he loves company and attention," Ms Hayes told national media.

The pig is named after Hollywood star Kevin Bacon, famous for films including A Few Good Men.

It has its own social media page which describes it as "lawn maintenance, guard pig, dog sitter and all round funny guy at in the house yard".

Ms Hayes made an urgent appeal on Facebook following the pig's disappearance.

Four days went past until the pig mysteriously reappeared.

The owners thought they saw the headlights of a vehicle which had dropped it off.

Kevin was clean and smelled like perfume.

"(He) carried on like a pork chop, he was so happy to see us," Ms Hayes said.

The owners are at a loss to explain the strange circumstances of Kevin's reappearance but are happy he is home.
