FOUND: Teen safe and well after disappearance from Scarness

SUNDAY 11.40AM:

A 16-year-old boy reported missing from Scarness on Thursday was located safe and well on Saturday.   Police wish to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance with this matter.  

EARLIER STORY, THURSDAY 2PM:

A TEENAGE boy has been reported missing from Scarness. 

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate the 16-year-old boy reported missing from Scarness on Thursday.

The boy (pictured) was last seen at a Winbirra Way residence at Scarness about 4pm on Thursday. 

Concerns are held for his welfare as he has not made contact with family or friends, which is out of character.

The boy is described as Caucasian, approximately 176cm tall, fair complexion, thin build, and light brown hair. 

He may be wearing a singlet, shorts, and a bucket hat.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
