Olympian Kenrick Monk to visit wide-eyed Clermont kids

OLYMPIC swimmer Kenrick Monk is coming to Clermont.

The 400m swimmer who represented Australia at the 2012 London Olympics is visiting the Clermont pool on February 16-17, dropping in from 8-11am and 4-5.30pm on Saturday and 8-11am on Sunday. Dysart Dolphins Club president Chris Burnese said the swimmer's visit was a combined effort by the Dysart and the Clermont Dolphins swimming club.

"He will run a coaching clinic and a question- and-answer session for the kids," Burnese said.

"They can't wait to meet him."
