More storms possible this week

Ipswich residents should prepare for more thunderstorms this week with humidity expected to rise.

The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting storms on Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures to reach the mid-30s and unstable weather conditions continuing to linger around the south-east corner.

There is a slight chance of a storm late today.

Meteorologist Rick Threlfall said the storms were unlikely to be as potent as Sunday's.

"We do always say at this time of year any storm has the potential to be dangerous."
