Mother and child rescued from roof of car

A MOTHER and her 14 month-old child have been rescued from the roof of their car after they were caught in floodwater outside of Moura.

The car was taken by water in a causeway near Bears Lagoon Rd after 10am.

Both passengers are safe and well.

Emergency services are trying to use a tractor to pull the car out of the water.
