Female motorcyclist killed in Darling Downs crash
A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed in a two-vehicle crash north-west of Toowoomba.
The crash occurred on Bunya Mountains Rd about 11.30am.
Police report that the female rider lost control of the motorbike and crashed when attempting to avoid a collision with another vehicle.
"A female rider has appeared to have veered into the path of a car, but has tried to miss the vehicle and has left the road, sustaining multiple injuries which turned out to be fatal," a police spokeswoman said.
The 54-year-old Roma woman died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
