Man dies, woman hurt in horrific Lowood crash

A MAN has died after a serious traffic crash involving a car and two motorcycles in Lowood yesterday morning.

Around 9.45am, the three vehicles were travelling in opposite directions on Lowood-Minden Rd when they collided near the intersection with Klibbe Rd.

One rider, a 58-year-old man from Cleveland, died as a result of his injuries.

The other rider, a woman aged in her 40s, was transported to Ipswich Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
