Motorcyclist sustains life-threatening injuries in crash

POLICE are investigating a serious, single-vehicle traffic crash which occurred this morning in Robina.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Christine Avenue at 4am, following reports a motorcycle had left the road and collided with a power pole.

The male rider was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
