Multiple ambulances on scene after child nearly drowns

MULTIPLE ambulances crews are on scene after a child nearly drowned in Surfers Paradise pool this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the Hamilton Avenue location at 4.47pm after reports of a near-drowning incident involving a male child.

Three ambulances, including advanced care and critical care units, have responded to the incident.

The child is reportedly in a serious but stable condition.
