Multiple fire crews rush to reports of structure fire

UPDATE: A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said firefighters are still monitoring a shed fire at Ramsay.

A private excavator will be used to demolish the steel structure to access the blaze.

It was expected to take some time tonight.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.  

 

EARLIER: Firefighters remain at the scene of a shed fire south of Toowoomba.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews are monitoring the fire and waiting for another appliance to arrive from Toowoomba.

 

EARLIER: Emergency services are rushing to reports of a structure fire south of Toowoomba.

Multiple Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews are responding to the incident in Ramsay.

A QFES spokeswoman said one crew was on scene with more en route.

It is understood the fire has taken hold in a shed and was reported to QFES about 4pm.
