Mundubbera murder accused fronts Brisbane court

A SECOND man extradited from NSW over a Mundubbera stabbing death has faced a Brisbane court accused of murder.

Police officers transferred Trevor Spencer, 70, from Dubbo to Brisbane on Monday to face the charge on Tuesday.

Dubbo's Daily Liberal reported Spencer had appeared in Dubbo Local Court with bandages covering his hands.

He is one of three men accused of murdering Gary Ryan, 43, in Mundubbera on Tuesday last week.

Police were called to a home in Bunce St in Mundubbera about 11.30am.

Gary Ryan, 43, was taken to Mundubbera Base Hospital with stab wounds. He died later that day.

Mark Stephen Crump, 35, was extradited from Orange in NSW over the fatal stabbing and had his case mentioned in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.

Both men's cases were adjourned to September 19.
