Muster crowds on best behaviour
THOUSANDS of people descended on Amamoor State Forest for the Optus National Music Muster but not one drink driver was caught coming out.
Sergeant Vic Tipman, who has attended every Muster for the past 20 years, said the results were not only incredible but very pleasing.
"It blows me away," Sergeant Tipman said. "I'm proud of that.
"There's only one way in and out of the site and to not get any, even the next day, it's just amazing."
At peak Sergeant Tipman said there was around 22 police on the ground carrying active patrols, including some mounted police.
A couple of small incidents did occur during the event, but on the most part police say Muster goers were well behaved.
"We had one incident during the week of an underage kid drinking too much," Sergeant Tipman said.
"There was also a couple who got into a fight on Friday and then on the last night a fight broke out at the end after The Pigs."
Charges have been laid over the incidents.
