Mystery driver takes down two traffic lights before disappearing

POLICE are on the hunt for the driver of a car that took out two traffic light poles before fleeing the scene.
Police were alerted to a one-vehicle crash at Little Mountain about1am.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the wrecked traffic lights and the culprit dual cab ute, but the driver was nowhere to be found.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the driver was heading east on Caloundra Rd when they went over a traffic island and ran through two traffic light poles at the Latcham Dr intersection.
The search for the missing driver continues.
