A TRIP to Cuba nearly a decade ago left an impression on Ryan Bushell that he's now sharing with Rockhampton.
Ryan is putting the final touches to Chango Chango, a Cuban rum bar offering a new flavour to the city's nightlife.

Ryan only recently came back to Rockhampton after spending 10 years working overseas in the UK, and with plenty of bar managing and finance experience under his belt, Ryan and his business partner wanted to create something different.
Ryan said Cuba and its history were fascinating and the culture really focused on the people.
"We'll have genuine tapas which are South American-style," he said.
"We wanted to create something that would stand on its own two feet."
Coming back to Rockhampton after nearly a decade, Ryan said that the more things had changed, the more they seemed the same and he wanted to bring something new to the city.
He's hoping that the bar, on the corner of Archer and Bolsover Sts, will give people an opportunity to "discover something new".
Ryan said they've worked hard to create a unique vibe for the bar, including having sourced their furniture and fixtures from around the world, including from India, Indonesia and Iran.
Chango Chango is expected to open its doors to the public next weekend.
