New gallery embodies art scene

The Tokarska Gallery.
The Tokarska Gallery. Lost at E Minor

THE Tokarska Gallery is a new gallery set up and run by Ukrainian-born, London-based cityscape artist, Nadiya Pavliv-Tokarska, here in my part of London, Walthamstow. The borough has a long history of supporting the arts, and the Tokarska Gallery is a beautiful addition to the arts scene here in E17.

A piece of artistic work itself, the gallery will showcase emerging talents – both British and international – and bring new talent to the heart of Walthamstow.

The debut exhibition - titled ‘Lost & Found’ - will be open to the public 31 March – 28 May 2011 and is dedicated to Pavliv-Tokarska’s work of original cityscape paintings. The exhibition encapsulates the viewer on a journey through the suburban sprawl of London.
