Newborn baby girl found fatally stabbed in Newcastle home

POLICE are investigating the death of a newborn baby girl who has been found with knife wounds at a house in Newcastle this morning.

Emergency services were called to the house in Curry Street at Wallsend at 9:00am.

They found the body of the baby, thought to be around six weeks old.
