Coffee cup not a crop circle

FINALLY, a crop circle that makes sense.

There’s refreshingly little to interpret about this giant coffee cup, carved out of Brett Luker and Brooke Clunie’s property at Fernleigh.

Brett, faced with a leisurely weekend last week, decided to put the mower to good use in attracting customers to his Red Door Coffee plantation, as well as partner Brooke’s Red Door Pottery studio.

After a light mow to make sure the dimensions were right, Brett then took the slasher to his outline.

The 50 metre by 50 metre circle has been impressing neighbours and passers-by for the last few days.

“It’s had a good reaction,” he told The Northern Star.

“Hopefully it’ll put Fernleigh on the map.”
