Nurse reveals Kim Kardashian's baby name

KIM Kardashian and Kanye West's baby name has been revealed courtesy of a hospital nurse, it has been reported.

The website reported it had scored a world exclusive, saying the baby - also reported to be a girl - was called Kaidence Donda West.

Kardashian, West and family members are yet to confirm the baby's name.

If true, it would be a tribute to West's mother Dr Donda West, who died in 2007 of complications following cosmetic surgery.

It is also a Kardashian tradition to use names starting with a 'K'.

The baby was born at Los Angeles' Cedars Sinai Hospital on Sunday, five weeks earlier than planned.

The new parents reportedly allowed the birth of their daughter to be filmed.

The reality TV star's boyfriend refused to allow cameras for her series, 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians,' to record any footage in the hospital on Saturday (15.06.13), but gave her mother and manager, Kris Jenner, permission to film the arrival of their baby girl.

But a source told gossip website that the footage is for family members only and insisted it will not be used for an E! reality special.

The professional crew accompanied Kim to her obstetrician when she began having strong labour pains on Friday but were told to leave the hospital by her rapper boyfriend as soon as he arrived.

The insider said: "Kim was extremely upset because she wasn't due for another month.

"She was in pain and didn't know what was happening. The camera crew from 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' had been with her all week.

"Kim was taken to Cedars, and cameras followed her there. The camera crew did attempt to accompany Kim into the hospital. When Kanye arrived, he told them to get lost, which they did.

"Kanye didn't want this precious moment to be documented for TV.

"Kim's momager, Kris, who was in the delivery room, filmed portions of it for family viewing only. Kanye told Kris when she could film."

Kim's older sister Kourtney, 34, previously allowed footage of both of her children, Mason, three, and Penelope, 11 months, being born, that was captured on home video cameras, to be used for reality TV specials.
