Old Boys' day at Hunter Stadium

THE Knights might not have a semi-final spot riding on tonight's game against the Rabbitohs at Hunter Stadium, but they have a couple of things to play for.

The most obvious is the fact it is Old Boys' day, where past Newcastle legends will be present to watch the game.

Six current squad members are also set to join the old boys' list.

Zeb Taia (who will take the field), along with Wes Naiqama, Joel Edwards, Junior Sa'u, Evarn Tuimavave and Kyle O'Donnell will leave the club after this fixture.

"It's a culmination of all of that, so it makes it a pretty special night. I hope everybody gets behind it," Knights coach Wayne Bennett said.

The Rabbitohs have not beaten the Knights at Hunter Stadium since 2007, but will be motivated by the fact that a win will secure a top-four spot.
