One dead, four injured after stabbing spree
ONE man is dead and four others have been left injured following a stabbing spree in Brisbane's inner west last night.
It is alleged a disturbance broke out at an address on Kennedy Terrace, Paddington around 10pm between a woman and a number of the residents at that location.
Four men were stabbed as a result of the incident.
Police have further alleged a second stabbing occurred a short time later involving the same woman and another man at Woolcock Park, Ashgrove.
The man received a small stab wound to his stomach.
A 39-year-old Woolcock Park woman was found and arrested by police a short time later.
Two of the men from Kennedy Terrace were transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and the other two men transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
One of those men has died.
The remaining victims have received non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman will front court this morning charged with one count of murder, three counts of attempted murder and one count of acts intended to maim.

EARLIER: Police are responding to a serious assault at an aged care facility in Brisbane last night.
Emergency services were called to an incident at Pinjarra Lodge on Kennedy Tce, Paddington just after 10pm.
Paramedics confirmed four people were injured in an incident at the facility, and it is believed three were taken to hospital.
It is understood the incident occurred in the downstairs area of one of the buildings inside the facility.
Police last night commenced a forensic investigation of the scene.
Residents at the facility were seen being told to return to their rooms as the police conducted their investigations into the early hours of the morning.
No further information is available at this time.
