1 James Tedesco: Spilt his first bomb and was never given the attacking opportunities he needed to create space. A solid effort without being outstanding. 6.5

2 Brett Morris: Try-saving tackle to stop Cooper Cronk from scoring, but had no chances with the ball. Did not make an error and was solid coming out of his own end. 6

3 Josh Dugan: Scored NSW's only try but did not take advantage of playing against a makeshift centre in Morgan. Also made two handling errors. 6

4 Jarryd Hayne: A very good match-up against a world-class centre in Chambers. Contained him well but he also had limited chances with the ball. 6

5 Blake Ferguson: Ran for 96 metres but the bulk of that was returning the ball from his own end. Did not receive much clean ball to create anything. 6

6 James Maloney: Chased down Tim Glasby to save a try and his boot laid on the Blues opening try. Made some important tackles, but his kicking game was a little errant. 6.5

7 Mitchell Pearce: Hard to impress when his forwards were on the back foot. Needed a better kicking game to ease the pressure. Never a threat with the ball. Origin will continue to haunt him. 5

8 Aaron Woods: Overcome in the opening exchanges. Could not replicate his efforts of game two. Kept on the back foot for most of the game. 5

9 Nathan Peats: Tackled himself again to a standstill, making the most for the Blues with 39. Did not offer anything with the football. 6

10 Andrew Fifita: Nowhere near the man-of-the-match performance from game one. He was public enemy No.1 coming into the game and did little to quieten down the home crowd. Well short of his best performance. 5

11 Boyd Cordner: Injured skipper who tried his hardest. Timing was off on the Blues' left edge, fumbling the ball twice. Still ran for 139 metres. 6

12 Josh Jackson: Very quite game. Limited involvement with the ball after his opening stint. Did not replicate his man-of-the-match performance in game two. 5.5

13 Tyson Frizell: Helped turn the Blues' fortunes around during the second half, but did not have a real impact. Only had six runs. 6

14 David Klemmer: Kept the Blues in the game with another barnstorming effort off the interchange bench. NSW big men struggled in the opening exchanges, until Klemmer came on to the field. 8

15 Wade Graham: Gave away a crucial penalty when the Blues were in control. Defended well and added some spark off the interchange bench. 6

16 Jake Trbojevic: Strong performance. Along with Klemmer, helped get the Blues back into the contest. A strong Origin series. 7

17 Jack Bird: Had more game time and spent a lot of it in the middle of the field. Tried to ignite the Blues but was unable to. 6.5
