Painting pre-loved into a treasure

TURN your pre-loved furniture into a talking point at the My Sister's House chalk paint workshop.

My Sister's House's Nicole Gillespie is bringing interior decorator Annie Sloan to Emerald on Wednesday, March 2, for a hands-on workshop where participants can learn how to best use Chalk Paint by practising on their own piece of furniture.

The workshop will be held at the Emerald Second Hand Dealers, 44 Batts St, from 10.30am-1.30pm.

Tickets are $189 which Nicole explained includes four hours of hands on practical exercises, all paints and materials required and a light lunch.

Nicole said it was a great workshop to learn how to use Chalk Paint and other techniques from Annie, who created Chalk Paint in 1990 and has penned 25 success books.
