Police calling for help to locate ATV stolen from forest


POLICE are appealing to the public over the theft of an ATV, pictured right, from Jimna.

Officers from the Kingaroy Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad are investigating the theft, which took place from within the Diaper State Forest on September 18 last year.

The vehicle had been parked at the side of a forestry track after it had run out of fuel but was gone when the owner returned to collect it on September 21.

It had been fitted with various accessories including a cargo box, brush bars, auxiliary battery, winch, and LED light bars.

Police are appealing for anyone who believes they may have information that could assist with finding the missing vehicle.
