Police find meth lab in car travelling Warrego Hwy

A TOOWOOMBA woman and a St George man have been charged after police intercepted a vehicle containing an alleged mobile drug lab.

The vehicle was pulled over about 3am today on the Warrego Hwy near Roma.

A search uncovered equipment allegedly used in the production of methylamphetamine.

The 22-year-old Harlaxton woman was charged with failing to take reasonable care and precautions in respect of a syringe or needle.

She is due to appear in the Roma Magistrates Court next month.

The 38-year-old St George man has been charged with one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing relevant substance or things and possessing anything used in the commission of a crime.

He will appear in the Roma Magistrates Court later today.
