Police hunting three men after robbery at Inala

POLICE are searching for a three men following the armed robbery of a service station and the attempted armed robbery of another in Inala last night.

Just after 8pm, the trio who intimated they were armed, entered a Rosemary Street service station and demanded the male attendant open the door to the counter area. When he refused, the group left the store.

Around 8.15pm, the same men attended a service station on Rudd Street where they confronted the staff member at the counter with what appeared to be a firearm wrapped in material.

They demanded he hand over money from the till and cigarettes. The attendant complied with the demands and the group fled the scene.

No one was physically injured in either incident.

Two of the men were described as being Caucasian in appearance and about 165cm tall with one having red hair.

The third man was described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, about 178cm tall with a solid build and wearing a white singlet.

Investigations are continuing.
