Police investigate suspicious fire at Collinsville

POLICE are investigating following a suspicious fire which destroyed a house and a car in Collinsville.

Around 3.00pm yesterday emergency crews were called to the scene on Belmore Street where a house was engulfed in flames.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

The incident is being treated as suspicious and a crime scene has been established.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing.
