Police keen to identify car in relation to Shandee's murder

POLICE are appealing for assistance from members of the public to identify the white vehicle pictured as police believe the occupant/s of the vehicle may be able to assist the murder investigation of Shandee Blackburn.

Police are continuing the appeal for public assistance regarding the murder of Shandee Renee Blackburn, 23 who was murdered in Mackay in the early hours of Saturday February 9 2013.

Police from Mackay Criminal Investigation Branch with assistance from the Homicide Investigation Unit and State Crime Command are continuing a major investigation in relation to the murder of Ms Blackburn.

The investigation, codenamed Operation Lima Zimzala continues to operate from the Investigation Centre at the Mackay Police Station.

Police acknowledge the invaluable assistance that has been provided by members of the public to date, but continue to appeal for any information from the public.
