Police officer to appear over alleged indecent assault
A male police constable from South Eastern Region has been served with a Notice to Appear in relation to the alleged indecent assault of a female officer on April 21.
The 44-year-old officer is currently suspended and remains the subject of an internal investigation.
The officer will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 2.
"In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct," QPS media said.
