EMERALD'S latest singing star Tameaka Powell will be putting on her boots and hat to step up to the stage to entertain at the PBR event on November 28.
Tameaka was recently on the small screen competing in this year's season of The Voice, making her way on to Joel and Benji Madden's team.
We can expect plenty of country from the young mum, who grew up singing on her family farm in northern New South Wales.
"I started singing in front of crowds at 11, my parents and grandparents would take me to country music festivals, rodeos and talent quests around the country for years," Tameaka said.
"Whilst growing up I listened to a lot of '90s country music, the likes of Tim McGraw, Shania Twain and Lee and Womack.
"This style of music has always had a huge impact on my style of music.
"I have always gigged, I started playing in pubs and clubs at 13 sometimes four nights a week up and down the coast of New South Wales and Queensland."
The Emerald PBR is shaping up to be an amazing night, with plenty of entertainment from Tameaka and the riders themselves to keep the family entertained.
