Protesters climb onto PM's office roof

"Refugee-policy protesters on roof of Tony Abbott's Manly office right now; helicopter hovering overhead" @emilyhwilson

REPORTS on social media site Twitter show photos of protesters on the roof of Prime Minister Tony Abbott's Manly offices.

The photos show police talking to the protesters and a sign draped from the building which reads "Hunger For Justice".

Several tweets have suggested the protest is against Government treatment of asylum seekers.

The protest comes just before Tony Abbott is scheduled to speak at the Press Club.

Mr Abbott has already this morning announced the Government will be dumping its Paid Parental Leave Scheme.
