Qld to have say on dingo issue

QUEENSLANDERS concerned about the Fraser Island dingo population can have a say after the launch of a State Government online survey.

The survey will form part of the government's review of the Fraser Island Dingo Management Strategy.

It gives Fraser Coast residents and concerned stakeholders a chance to talk about how they think the dingo population should be managed on the island.

Environment Minister Andrew Powell said the survey asks people about public education on dingoes, research and management, conservation and dingo welfare.

Go to www.ecosure.com.au/business-units/wildlife-management/alias/fidms/ to fill out the survey before next Tuesday (October 16).
