THE fourth person to be kept in custody as a result of police Operation North Oxbow has made a brief appearance before a Gladstone magistrate.

Hannah Jane Quant, 25, made no plea when she appeared in the dock on a serious charge of trafficking in methylamphetamine between June 22, 2015 and January 20 this year.

Quant, a Boyne Island resident, is also charged with having property suspected of being used in a drug offence.

Her Russo Lawyer's Brisbane legal representative spoke by a phone link up with the court, saying a bail application would be made Friday.
