Rabbitohs tackle crucial encounter

IT is do or die for the Bluff Rabbitohs this weekend with a Central Highlands finals' position hanging in the balance. And they don't come much tougher this season than competition leaders the Clermont Bears.

None are more aware of the importance of tomorrow's clash in Bluff than the Rabbitohs' coach Cy Bielenberg, who said their season could hinge on this one match.

But he was taking some comfort in the knowledge he would be able to field one of the best Bluff line-ups this season.

"It's our first game back to a full strength side," Cy said.

"This game will we be as strong as any this year."

Adding more weight to their cause was the resolve shown by the Rabbitohs to hold out the home-town Dysart Bulls 40-22.

"We were a bit short at the weekend and they (Dysart) kept coming at us and my blokes could have given up, but didn't," Cy said.
